If you have a pacemaker or a defibrillator Apple has issued a warning about its IPhone 12.
The phone has a magnetic ring that allows the device to connect to a charging base, but because the magnetic field is so strong, it could trigger the pace maker to stop sensing the heart.
With the defibrillator it can trigger off the shock therapy, so it wouldn't shock the heart if needed.
Apple is suggesting people keep a 6 inch distance between the two devices but Dr. Eric Van De Graaff recommends being even farther if the phone is on the charger.
Apparently, while charging he said "produces more of a field so, you should keep it 12 inches away."
