If you got the Johnson & Johnson shot DON'T PANIC. Federal officials said if you received the vaccine in the last few weeks you shouldn't be nervous, even with the pause on the vaccine.
The shot can cause blood clots, but it is very rare and there have only been 6 cases, which were in women ages 18-48. The women developed symptoms six to 13 days after getting their vaccine. One died and one patient is in critical condition.
Although the clots are rare if you received the shot within the last few weeks be on the lookout for symptoms of :
- severe headache
- abdominal pain
- leg pain
- shortness of breath
Don't stress it, just be cautious the chances of the blood clot are one in a million according to Fauci.
