You know that saying "one person's trash is another person's treasure." Well in this case Goodwill wants people to STOP donating their trash.
Meaning no broken furniture, flashlights with leaking batteries, disfigured Barbie dolls and other worn out items.
Goodwill, does believe all the defective items are from well-intentioned people who want to reduce waste but are donating items that simply shouldn't be donated.
However, don't get it wrong it is important to keep donating, most Salvation Army locations are "in need of high-quality, new and gently used items."
