There were a lot of mixed reviews about Selena: The Series, and now Glady's Rodriguez, a writer for the Netflix is speaking out about her negative experience.
"I should have seen these red flags in the beginning," Rodriguez says.
She is claiming not only was the staff overworked, but also underpaid.
Rodriguez also stated instead of the series being budgeted as a U.S. original, it was ordered as a Latin American original, which is a smaller budget to work with.
For example The Crown is reported to have a budget of $13 million per episode compared to the under $2 million per episode for Selena.
Do you think Netflix could have done more with the series?
