Social media has been in a panic because of rumors going around that there's a Flamin' Hot Cheetos shortage and that the chip was being discontinued.
RELAX. There is NO proof to either of these statements, which was started on a viral Twitter feed.
Back in April of 2020, the Frito-Lay company did announce a pause on the production of XXTRA Flamin'Hot Cheetos, but nothing on the originals.
So although there is no confirmation on the snack being discontinued, but there's also no proof the snack is going off the shelves for good.
