Jennifer Lopez is reportedly taking some time to be single and focus on "self-care" amid her "upsetting" divorce from Ben Affleck.

According to Entertainment Tonight, a source said the "On the Floor" singer is focused on herself as she navigates her split from her estranged husband, who she filed for divorce from in August after two years of marriage and months of speculation surrounding the state of their rocky relationship.

"Jen is trying to lean into self-care and self-love since her split with Ben," the source said. "She is giving herself time to be single and thinks that's the best thing for her right now."

The source added that Lopez is so intent on being there for herself that she is not even thinking about getting back into the dating game just yet.

"She knows she needs to take care of herself first and move on from this upsetting experience before she can give love to a future romantic partner," the source said.

Earlier this month, the "This Is Me... Now" musician opened up about how she feels being single amid her divorce, telling comedian Nikki Glaser in a conversation with Interview magazine that she's "excited" and happy to be on her own.

"Now I'm excited, when you say you're just going to be on your own. Yes, I'm not looking for anybody, because everything that I've done over the past 25, 30 years, being in those different challenging situations, what can I f---ing do when it's just me flying on my own ... what if I'm just free?"
