There's a new scam going around and the FBI wants you to be aware.
Apparently, people have been receiving text messages about bank fraud alerts, possibly receiving a warning about being contacted by a "fraud specialist," and being tricked into sending a transaction to the scammer.
The scammers seem to have done their research on their potential victims, by knowing the financial institute, past addresses, social security number and the last four digits of their bank accounts."
So be cautious on who you are sending money to and giving information to.
