Kim Kardashian is fighting to allow the father of Eliahanna 'Ellie' Cruz Torres to attend his daughter's funeral. Ellie was only 10-years-old and one of the victims of the Uvalde shooting. Her father is currently a prisoner on a drug-related charge and was denied temporary release to attend his daughter's funeral.
Torres has been given the option of live streaming the service, but has expressed his desire to be there at the funeral in person.
The Houston Chronicle, interview Torres, where he stated his mistakes cost him more than just his freedom. "I could have prevented this from happening, somehow, some way, as a father... I could have stopped it somehow. Protected her."
