Netflix is bringing 'Squid Games' to life with a real-life version of the brutal South Korean survival show- of course not as gory!
"Squid Game: The Challenge" is being called "the biggest reality completion series ever created" which will feature 456 contestants competing for a $4.56 million in prize money!! This will be the largest cash prize ever offered on a reality television show!
Netflix VP Brandon Rieg said in a press release, "'Squid Game' took the world by storm with [director] Hwang Dong-hyuk's captivating story and iconic imagery. We're grateful for his support as we turn the fictional world into reality in this massive competition and social experiment."
Casting is currently open to English-language speakers over the age of 21 at SquidGameCasting.com. The reality show will feature 10 episodes and production is expected to take place over four weeks.
Now the games will be based on the actual games in the show, just now as gruesome.
