A woman who was being held against her will was saved because of her Grubhub order. The victim placed an order through the delivery app to Chipper Truck Cafe with the note, "Please call the police, his going to call me when u delivered come with the cones please don't make it obvious."
The workers immediately called their boss to ask what they should do and were told to call the police "can't take any risks, better be safe than sorry."
The order was to be delivered in the Eastchester neighborhood of the Bronx. Police arrived shortly after, and found a 24-year-old woman, who claimed a man had raped her and was holding her against her will. A suspect was arrested and identified as a 32-year-old Kemoy Royal and has since been charged with unlawful imprisonment, strangulation, rape, as well as criminal sex act and sexual abuse.
