This is crazy to me! But corporal punishment is making its way back into the school system in Missouri.
The school district will now allow spanking with a paddle for students who are misbehaving. Parents will have to approve the punishments, but I just could never allow someone spanking my child.
Parents have been notified of the new policy and the consent forms were handed out.
"At the end of the day, this gives the school one more tool to use to discipline a child, without sending them home on suspension where they'd just play video games," said Dylan Burns, 28, a local farmer who favors the option of corporal punishment.
