Another American Pie film is in the works, but it doesn't sound like it's going to be anything like the original. This film will be written by Sujata Day and the movie is aimed to be a "fresh take" on the franchise.
But it is unlikely we will see the original stars: Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Seann William Scott, Eugene Levy, Shannon Elizabeth and Jennifer Coolidge.
