Hopefully, it's no time soon, but to prepare for the next big earthquake California will hold a state wide drill.
This will be mandatory for people in government offices, businesses and schools throughout the state, where people will stop what they're doing to "drop, cover and hold on."
The Great California ShakeOut drill is will be scheduled at 10:20 am this Thursday to emphasize the precautions during a magnitude seven-point-eight or larger earthquake.
