This week elected officials, community leaders and medical professional from across the region celebrated the grand opening for a new clinic that will provide prenatal and perinatal health care to underserved Black women and their families.
This is huge and super important because African American women experience higher rates of infant mortality and are three to four time more likely to die in childbirth compared to women of other races.
The clinics mission is to reverse systemic issues that have left African American families suffering worse health outcomes during pregnancy and infancy than any other group.
The NAEBOR clinic will operate from the existing Mommy and Me Medical Group Clinic at 416 W Foothill Boulevard in Rialto. For information on the clinic or to schedule an appointment, contact (909) 421-0493 or visit https://www.naeborclinic.com/
