We have been waiting on a new album from Rihanna since 2016, when "Anti" dropped.
So when Rihanna announced she would be doing the Super Bowl halftime show, 'I thought this is it! She's dropping new music!'
But according to Rihanna, that is not the case saying, "That's not true. Super Bowl is one thing. New music is another thing. Do you hear that, fans?"
She also added, "The second that I announced this, I said, 'Oh, my God, they're going to think my album is coming. I need to get to work."
This is really disappointing, but I'll take what I can get and I guess we will have to continue to be patient with her.
Rihanna also talked a little about motherhood mentioning it was now or never for the Super Bowl and if she was going to leave her baby it was going to be for something special.
