If you've been noticing people with pear emojis in their bios, there's actually some meaning behind it.
The 🍐 in a bio is suppose to indicate that the person is single and welcoming Dm's. This all started with a company named Pear starting "one of the biggest social experiments worldwide."
This is basically to help people ditch the dating apps and allow people to meet in real life.
The company is also selling a green ring to allow people know you are single. The website says "If 1.2 billion singles around the world wore a little green ring on their finger to show they're single, we wouldn't need dating apps." This social experiment is live in the USA,UK, Germany, Canada, and Australia.
