The Bank, a popular Mexican restaurant in Old Town Temecula has lost its permit to serve alcohol, offer live entertainment and stay open late which led the owners to close their doors yesterday. It’s been more than 45 years since The Bank replaced the first national bank called The Temecula Bank. So it’s been around for awhile and the owners are disputing this, claiming by revoking its permit the city mishandled legal documents, showed prejudice against their latino and black clientele and is attempting to roll back the growing night life in old town. So we will see what happens, hopefully they can open back up soon.
