October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month and a company in Riverside is leading the way by training and hiring people with disabilities. Phenix Technology manufactures helmets for firefighters and first responders worldwide. The company has a program called Opportunity for all that brings in a number of different people with different degrees of intellectual disabilities and they put them in a classroom half of the day and the other half of the day they get work experience.
