We recently talked about California possibly banning tackle football, well the bill has died despite the risk of brain damage, Governor Newsome said “I am deeply concerned about the health and safety of our young athletes, but an outright ban is not the answer." He then continued to say he will work with the bill’s author to strengthen safety in football and allow the parents to make that decision.
