This is cool, a beachfront, retro-inspired roller skating rink is opening this summer at Hotel Del Coronado. It was inspired by the success of their annual holiday ice skating rink they decided to do something for summer which will open June 14 through September 2. It will be open daily general admission will be $28 which includes roller skate rentals an up to 90 minutes of skating.
This summer there will be 100s of movies being shown for free at dozens of parks across the county as part of this year’s summer "Movies in the Park," which kicks off tomorrow. You can pack chairs, blankets, and snacks. The program runs til November 1 and some of the movies are The Little Mermaid, Wonka, The Sandlot and more. The movies will start 15 min after sunset, plus many locations will provide entertainment and food trucks. Tomorrow it will be at the Waterfront Park downtown and the movie will be Barbie.
